While the bunk beds are basic and a bit creaky, the area is quiet, and there are handy convenience stores nearby. The staff is friendly, but be ready for disrupted sleep if you're sensitive to noise. It's a decent budget option if you're okay with the essentials.

The noise in this place was unbearable! The walls are paper-thin, so I woke up every hour from alarms and loud chatting. I felt completely drained because I couldn't get any quality sleep at all-definitely not worth the cheap price!

We had a pleasant stay at Lodging Tokyo Ueno. the hostel is bigger and more spacious than their other branch in Uguisudani. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are clean. the staff are very friendly and quickly solved a problem we had with our mattress. the location is great, in a quiet area with food and supermarkets nearby. it's within walking distance of Asakusa and close to train and bus stations. For the price, it is definitely worth staying. Cons: Was all great! 😊.
